Make Prostate Cancer A National Priority

Considering that one in six men in the United States will be diagnosed with prostate cancer and 28,000 of us will die this year alone, we need to get our government to increase prostate cancer funding to a level it reflective of its impact. Malecare (www.malecare.com) has begun a drive to deliver a petition to the newly elected president in January (no matter who is elected) asking that they make prostate cancer a national priority.W e need you, your friends and family to sign on to the petition. Go to www.prostatecancerpetition.org Thank youJoel T Nowak

RE: Make Prostate Cancer A National Priority

Joel - I wholeheartedly agree with you. I have been pondering the past days in particular of how or who I would need to aproach to make a difference. We have the Breastcancer walks - yet I have never heard of anything of the like for Prostate Cancer - Is it that women are more open in discussing their problems and fears and men tend to keep it to themselfes? The education regarding Prostate problems and cancer should be stressed to yound men long before the age of 40. I stress proper diet along with early PSA testing to any young male - for their and their loved ones future!EV
