      <title>hair loss and pancreatic cancer</title>
      <description>my mom has pancreatic cancer and had the whipple surgery, however after 6 months she has not received and therapy.&amp;nbsp; Recently her hair has begin to come out, is this normal even if your don&amp;#39;t take chemo?</description>

      <title>RE: hair loss and pancreatic cancer</title>
      <description>I just started Chemo after my&amp;nbsp;whipple (took my second dose today).&amp;nbsp; The doctors told me that the chemo they use for pancreatic cancer would not cause hair loss.&amp;nbsp; So far it has not.&amp;nbsp; If your mom is losing her hair without any Chemo it may be from something else.&amp;nbsp; I would check with her doctor.I wish her a quick and full recoveryJohn</description>
