coma stage

He's in his final stage and in a coma or at least his final stage. His family is here accept my mom and dad. My dad had a triple bypass with gall bladder problems so they aren't home yet. He's on oxygen to be comfortable but he't not "giving up" and now he's not agitated. We found the right med combination for that.. Please pray for his peace that passes all .......(I'm blank for the word, help me here) at least just pray for his peace. He's been in this stage more or less since Tuesday. Thanks for all of the 2 year support from Cancer CompassMsC

Thanks for all of the 2 year support from Cancer CompassMsC My prayers are with you and your family. My husband Mick has kidney cancer,I have always pray, but lately i spent alot of time talking to God.And if it wasn't for my faith in the Lord,I would be a mess threw all these. With the help of God, I feel strong, I thougth I was a very weak person, but I know God is rigth there by my side.So talk to God like the saying goes{Hang it on the cross} God will listen.Keep in touch.Stay strong. one of these days we will all go home to the house the Lord has gone to prepare for all of us and there we will see all are love ones. Rally53

I remember when my brother entered this stage, no longer agitated but not giving up either. He spent about 3 days like that and died on 2/12/08. On one hand we were so relieved to hvae the right mix of med going - to see him quiet, free of pain and peaceful, even snoring as he rested. But oh how I wished for just one more conversation. Tim's struggle with GBM ended 9 months after his diagnosis. On 1/7/08 he decided to stop the chemo, Avistan/CPT II, that wasn't working anyway. He died 5 weeks later.I'm sorry for all you're going thru - I've been there and know how difficult it is.Praying God peace on all of you in the days to come.Judy
