CancerCompass message board discussion started by CCs Kid on 4/13/2008 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,23006,0.htm Fri, 04 Jul 2008 00:00:00 GMT Fri, 04 Jul 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ Barrett's (severe) diagnosed 8 years ago.  Had Nissan fundiplication.  Took care of GERD.  Have had UGI/scope every 2 years since.  Symptoms of extreme gagging for past 2-3 years.  Scopes show no advancement of Barretts according to less than desirable clinic/hospital in my town.  Last scope 3/08.  Doc says no more scopes for 5 years.   Not only while brushing teeth, but I can be sitting watching TV, or driving my car and start gagging.  In the back of my mind this is an esophageal problem.  No weight loss.  In fact I could lose 30#.  Wondering..  anyone with overstimulation of gag reflex as a symptom of esophageal problems?
