      <title>Barretts</title>
      <description>Barrett&amp;#39;s (severe) diagnosed 8 years ago.&amp;nbsp; Had Nissan fundiplication.&amp;nbsp; Took care of GERD.&amp;nbsp; Have had UGI/scope every 2 years since.&amp;nbsp; Symptoms of extreme gagging for past 2-3 years.&amp;nbsp; Scopes show no advancement of Barretts according to less than desirable clinic/hospital in my town.&amp;nbsp; Last scope 3/08.&amp;nbsp; Doc says no more scopes for 5 years.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Not only while brushing teeth, but I can be sitting watching TV, or driving my car&amp;nbsp;and start gagging.&amp;nbsp; In the back of my&amp;nbsp;mind this is an esophageal problem.&amp;nbsp; No weight loss.&amp;nbsp; In fact I could lose 30#.&amp;nbsp; Wondering..&amp;nbsp; anyone with overstimulation of gag reflex as a symptom of esophageal problems?</description>
