my mom has colon cancer in her liver

I got the news today. My mom has a large inoperable mass in her liver. She had colon cancer and had 1/3 of her colon removed 2 years ago.No follow up treatment...the surgeon said he was sure he got it all. Now its in her liver .I am still in shock with no one to talk to. I am a mess.I can't stop crying even now . I want to know a little about what to expect.....how long will I have my Mom? Does anyone ever recover from something like this? Where do I go for straight talk? I am lost without her. She is all I have

Hi my name is Cayla. I'm 19 years old and my mom also had colon cancer that spread to her liver and her lungs. I am willing to talk to you but I don't know if you will want to because my mom died of her cancer on Feb 29th 2008. But I know what it's like so you can talk to me if you want to. God bless.

Thank you.I want to know what to expect. Even hard truth would be better then false hope or confusion. I want to know her chances, how long... Oh Cayla I am so very sorry for your loss..... you are too young to have to face this world without your Mom.
