Pulmonary Fibrosis From Oxaliplatin-fatal

I'm wondering if anyone else out there has gotten pulmonary fibrosis from oxaliplatin??? This is a terminal disease that you can get from a number of ways. I will see another lung specialist on July 6th and most likely will have to have an invasive lung biopsy. The expected length of time for fibrosis patients is 2 to 4 years following diagnosis. Only 1% of people on oxaliplatin get this. So, I guess it will be hard to find anyone out there with this side effect from folfox 4. Cure the cancer, but kill the patient. This problem starts with a dry cough and then onto shortness of breath. If this happens to you, tell your dr immediately and make sure he takes you off the chemo and checks your lungs. I WOULD APPRECIATE ANYONE WITH THIS PROBLEM TO LET ME KNOW HOW YOU ARE DOING!!!
