The Kanzius Machine: A Cancer Cure?

I have not had time to fully review the text or video, but it was a story recently covered by CBS's 60 Minutes, so must have some degree of credibility. http://starturl.com/vwcvv Craig

RE: The Kanzius Machine: A Cancer Cure?

Good Afternoon Craig;UNBELIEVEABLE!Do you know when this aired on 60 minutes? I'm sure with all his research it must have been sometime ago. What an amazing story! To add more credence to this theory, if M D Anderson is involved there must be some solid background to his idea.Any ideas on how they would get the nano particles to cling to the stem cells in MM patients? Injecting a tumor is pretty straight forward, but we are a little different. You may want to post this on the home page for others to view.Take care;Kevin

I think it aired on the most recent 60 Minutes ... and yes ... if MD Anderson is involved it has got to be promising. The biggest challenge is going to be how to transport the nanoparticles directly to the cancer cells. Once that hurdle is jumped it could be that this treatment will be considered one of the most important medical discoveries ever. Let's all keep our fingers crossed!Craig

RE: The Kanzius Machine: A Cancer Cure?

http://www.mdanderson.org/diseases/liver/display.cfm?id=a401 it does sound too hopeful for mm patients as there seems to be a leakage to the surrounding tissues and mm cells are scatterd. also in the comments to the original article there are ideas about giving the patients extra iron as cancer cells actively absorb it therefore practically eliminating the need for gold nanoparticles....
