It is commonly used in China for that purpose and studies here have shown it to be effective. I have my father taking it during his treatment and he never had an issue with his count going low. cant say for sure that is the reason but it cannot hurt to try it now that your count is low. Most health food stores that sell supplements would have it, GNC or if you go online you can find it. There is a link to the cancer treatment centers of america supplements on this site somewhere and I would imagine they are of high quality.
