discomfort in arm

Hello All! Things have been going well on our end. My mom completed her final round of Temodar close to three weeks ago. Now we are patiently waiting for some of her energy to come back along with the ability to taste food again. Tonight while watching tv my mom asked what she should take for her "sore" arm. She's mentioned this discomfort in her left arm about three times now over the past few weeks. It never bothered her before and I'm wondering if anyone else out there has had experience with this and if it's something to be concerned about. The times she's brought it up she has been sitting, not sure if that could have something to do with it? Any thoughts??? -holly

My right side gets "sore" at times in the arm due to the fact my tumors are on the left side of my brain. It's part of my seizure activity.

Holly,My Mom also had a sore arm and then about two months ago she lost use of it completely. It was really an overnight thing, but she complained of pain and soreness for awhile and thought it was arthiritis, she is 62. My Mom is a 2 1/2 year survivor of GBM, she is now losing her battle with the cancer. She had done a ton of different clinical trials and we believe this is what has kept her alive so long. Now we are hoping that the final stages of her life are comfortable and surrounded by everyone she loves.Good luck Holly.Mommgbm60

Thank you so much for your responses. I'm going to check in with her dr. to see what they have to say. I'd hate to see her lose use of her arm...she would be devastated!!! -holly
