Second Diagnosis//Cancer Came Back/Want Alternative Options

I was diagnosed two years ago with advanced prostate cancer and a PSA of 22.. after 44 IMRT radiation treatments and 7 months of Lupron hormone therapy it went into remission, however, very recently through bone scan shows a spot near my right shoulder blade rib and still another above one of my kidneys.. I had recent prostattitis symptoms with a PSA of 15 and Flomax prescribed.. still another Oncologogist is going to see me, take biopsies and probably suggest hormone therapy again. I go to Indiana U Cancer Pavilion in Indianapolis, state of the art, top 10 in country. Can cellular zeolite or graviola make a difference or interfer with treatment? Also, hear Folic Acid helps or prevents cancer. See new Onbcoloist in few days... Thanks, John in Indiana.....

RE: Second Diagnosis//Cancer Came Back/Want Alternative Options

John,Your plea for an alternative caught my attention and I want to share a story with you. My Aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer many years ago. She underwent a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Afterwards she traveled extensively to far away places and then went on a mission for her church. Somewhere along the line she got interested in alternative medicine and became convinced that she shouldn't have gone through all that she did to fight the cancer.Fast forward about 15 years, and she developed another cancer. She decided that she knew enough about medical treatments and opted to do alternative treatments instead. She had been promised a cure. About 8 months later we buried her. Her oncologist's nurse told a family member that had she gone in for medical treatments instead of the alternative treatments, it would have been caught early enough to treat fairly easily. Please, consult with your oncologist before trying anything and do extensive research of your own. Someone suggested, recently, that I look into a product that someone else had taken and it "cured" their cancer. I looked, read and did my research. Their "trials" consisted of 85 people compared to 100's of thousands in medical trials and their proof was mostly "testimonials" from people, some of which had never been told by a doctor that they even had cancer. In other words, be very careful! This is your life we're talking about.
