Osteonecrosis of the Jaw

I have recently been diagnosed with ostronecrosis of the jaw, a side effect of the drug Zometa, which I have received several doses since 2003 for the metastisis of breast cancer to my spine and leg and clavicle. I am cancer free in my bones now but my jaw is dead, tissue over the dead bone won't heal from a tooth extraction and I am in excruciiating pain. They say there is no trreatment, it's irreversible and not much they can do. ANyother sufferers out there? How do you cope with it --increasing doses of pain medicine. It helps with the pain byt I am tired all the time, and sleep a lot more than I'd like to . My cancer is stable. Sharon B.
