RE: Tong Ren?

I'm a student of Tom Tam's and we have been participants in one of the guinea pig classes on a weekly basis for about a year and a half. My husband has esophageal cancer with lung mets. Dx in 12/05 with stage 4 EC so it is very virulent. I was told about tongren within 5 minutes of dx, but did not attend first class for a year, so I feel I was being given guidance from the 1st, although it took numerous people mentioning it to us before we tried it. We did chemo/radiation to start, followed by esophagectomy and lung resection. He was only a surgical candidate because we knocked mets down, although 3 of his lymph nodes were positive also. 9 months later did 2nd lung resection with EC found in lung. Husband attended first class shortly before 2nd resection. Came home with rosy cheeks and warm hands after feeling like ice since esophageal surgery. Began going on a weekly basis over a year ago, after 2nd lung resection and right before finding 3rd lung met. We went back in for 3 rounds of chemo around the time we began class regularly. Was NED after 1st round, NED after 2nd round and we skipped 3rd with blessings of oncologist. Was NED through Dec 07, when he needed emeregency bowel resection. Lung mets returned immediately after surgery (I began using laser on dolls lungs after surgery), but then most stopped growing again (much to surprise of oncologist). Small amount of growth at the moment in a couple of the lung nodules, but it seems each time he has a setback the growth starts, so if we stay on even keel the tongren seems to be helping to keep it at bay. Esophageal is close to the top of the pile with pancreatic, liver and lung cancer for chance of survival, so our oncologist has been amazed by how we keep seesawing back towards health over and over, in spite of setbacks not related to the cancer. We are optimistic, and I bless Tom each day. He gives so much of himself, and shares a vast wealth of healing information with us on a regular basis. A true healer! Much of the work we do is offered on a donation basis, so it is very accessible. We also participate in the conference calls for long disatnce healing. I tap and my husband receives, and there are some hopeful things going on. Patrick looks well, and feels well most of the time. The difference in chemo with and without tongren was remarkable. No low blood counts, missed weeks, etc with tongren, although we used much larger doses of chemo drugs. Have also been blessed not to exprerience some of the the more permanent and insidious side effects of his chemo regimen. His oncologist has told me more than once we are not textbook, and has spent a few hours scratching her head over us. Keep reminding her I am tapping my doll regualrly for him. So we'll see. I highly recommend guinea pig class. If you are seeing Bell, you must be in the area.
