She is scheduled to have her second folfox treatment in 2 days. Her primary nurse mentioned to my sister-in-law that after this chemo treatment she was not scheduled for anymore treatments, but her nurse was holding her spot open for her. She has a meeting 10 days after the second treatment with her oncologist? What does this mean?  I thought that evaluations of chemo effectiveness did not happen until at least 4 months. I am worried because since she was diagnosed 2 months ago with colon cancer, there has not been one shred of positive news.Anne annemariebb Tue, 22 Apr 2008 00:00:00 GMT Not sure what it means... typically it is four treatments.... did she react badly to the first?  Call the doctor, the nurse may be mistaken too.  Msmittens Wed, 23 Apr 2008 00:00:00 GMT My mom's Onc never schedules more than an appt or two ahead.
