RE: Treatment info of liver diseases

Hi there,I have been diagnosed with terminal cholaniocarcinoma with mets in my sacrum. It is inoperable but they have been treating me with chemo ( gemcitaben). I have had 8 months of weekely chemo and they are giving me a break now to see if it stays stable. The rest of my liver is fatty but they say there is no treatment for that and the chemo doesn't help. When I have asked for dietary advice they say there is nothing specific, any advice from you about how to stay as healthy as possible? I do not drink alcohol and have tried to stick to a low fat diet. The prognosis is not good but I am feeling OK, in fact I have no symptoms, so it is hard to believe. On 4/22/2008 tokyo7788 wrote:I am the administrator of the forum which provides discussion to patients with liver diseases (hepatitis c, fatty liver, liver cancer, liver cirrhosis, and NASH liver).
