XELODA

Hi - has anyone been on or is taking XELODA?I have/had Pancreatic Cancer and had the Whipple procedure done in August 2006. I have been on chemo (5fu and GEMZAR) since October 2006. A couple of months ago they founs a few spots on my lungs, to small to be anything yet.As a precaution, my oncologist put me on XELODA. I am now into the 2nd cycle and I aked him today how long I will be on it. He said is it's working we will see. My statement was, if you don't know what the spots are, and if they go away in my next CAT scan, it means they were Cancer. He said yes, but I still don't have an answer as to how long I will be on XELODA.It sems as I am rambling and probably am, but anyone who has dealt with XELODA, how long have you been on it.......? I really don't have many of the side effects, just don't want to be on the drug. Thanks and God bless
