Radiation (Tomo-therapy) Pain

Yesterday my husband had his first rad. He was complaining of slightly stonger pain in his throat earlier that day. But after his treatment, he says it's much worse already. Now, I realize everyone is different in their reactions to this, but wondering if anyone else out there could feel the effects of the radiation after just one treatment? Thanks again!

I did. I did not have tomotherapy. However, after my very first treatment, I felt terrible. My ears were hurting, my throat was hurting and I felt tired. The doctors just shrugged it off. Everyone reacts differently to treatment, so I would definitely ask his doctor about it.
