CancerCompass message board discussion started by matthogan on 4/28/2008 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,23520,0.htm Wed, 09 Jul 2008 00:00:00 GMT Wed, 09 Jul 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ My dad has agreed to enroll in a trial for treatment for his stage IV PC (mets to liver) with Tarceva & RAD001.  He has had gemzar/tarceva with limited success followed by ablation to his original 2 spots in liver.  Today they spotted 2-3 very small (but new) spots in the liver.  The Dr. thinks this trial may help before they go back to the shelf of traditional chemos.  Does anyone know or have any experience with RAD001?   Thanks, and bless all of you fighting or supporting someone who is fighting this terrible disease.Matt matthogan Mon, 28 Apr 2008 00:00:00 GMT
