CancerCompass message board discussion started by tallcliff on 4/29/2008 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,23539,0.htm Wed, 09 Jul 2008 00:00:00 GMT Wed, 09 Jul 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ Two weeks ago my girlfriend had an ovarian cyst removed (she's 43), and will begin chemo soon for a period of about 6 months.  She will receive the 'most aggressive' version through an abdominal port in one session and into the vein in another. My question:  We've heard that the side-effects can range from almost none, to very severe.  I would like to know if the community here has any ideas for reducing side-effects of chemo?  The doctors will give her medications, I'm sure, but you people that have been through this may have advice for me to pass along.  All replies appreciated.Good Health, tallcliff   tallcliff Tue, 29 Apr 2008 00:00:00 GMT
