Reversal? Any thoughts?

My wife has stage IV NSCLC (Adenocarcinoma). 9 weeks ago her CT scan showed tumor reduction in all sites. However she had another CT scan today and we are very concerned. During her scan the technician had to leave to 'consult' with the radiologist. Nothing more was said, but needless to say we are very concerned. Does him leaving mean that they saw something? We've only a couple of days until we meet with our oncologist to find out the results, but the question is has anyone had sucha reversal of fortunes? Is that normal or does it take longer?
