Surgery for kidney . and hormone treatment and High intensity ultraa sound treatment, Biopsy of prostate in jan 07. All my scans have been clear but my PSA was 9 now down to 6.2 and staying there. Also, my Blood Urea Nitrogen is 27.Drs do not seem concerned??Wondering if i should check further??Feeling fine no symptoms.Skip      Blantyre Wed, 30 Apr 2008 00:00:00 GMT Hi,I've got trouble answering you on this one: you don't say how old you are, or if there is any sign of recurrent prostate cancer......other than your scans.In my opinion, I don't think it should be that high.....ie. PSA, but if your Dr's don't seem concerned thats good. If so your psa should be less than 1. I had HIFU last June and all my test since have been 0.4. I started with a psa of 7.8. I too never had any symptoms and am recovering quite well. This ssssssseemed towork well but after that i waas diagnosed ith renal cell cancer and had surgery. so far that is ok. went to Dr yesterday and I will be having bone scan and ct scan. Praying things will be ok. PSA is a little bit more up but no symptoms. Pray all goes well with you.  Skip  Blantyre Sat, 03 May 2008 00:00:00 GMT Hello again: In answer to your question I had High Intensity ultra sound in Germany at St Georges Klinik in Oct 2005. My PSA was way down then also.but in the last year has been up to 9 and then down to 6,2 . where it is now.  Will be having ct scan and bone scan at end of May.. My Onconologist has ordered this.
