CancerCompass message board discussion started by angel0814 on 4/30/2008 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,23591,0.htm Thu, 24 Jul 2008 00:00:00 GMT Thu, 24 Jul 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ hi:My Dad had a complete prostate removal in 2005, radiation following.  Now in 2008 had a hip replaced, developed e-coli bladder infection and now what they are saying is infection cleared but he in actuality has Radiation Cystitis.  Had 2 cystocopy surgeries and just underwent alum instillation today, urologist said 65% success rate.  The bleeding and clotting he has is horrible.  Anyone else had such a horrilbe thing and any luck with different treatments!!!!  Thank you.Angel angel0814 Wed, 30 Apr 2008 00:00:00 GMT   I went thru similiar problem with bleeding and clots 18 months after radiation...Went into hospital here in Baltimore area, where the put in cathater that would kept a constant flushing of the bladder...While this was going on, they had me going to hyperbaric treatments twice a day...It took a while but IT WORKED !!!!...There is alot of info on the internet about this...If you are close a large hospital, they should have this equip....If you want more on this .
