Does anyone has any suggestions. I sent this note to the writer:Have you tried Glycolax? In some states it is by prescription, butmost are not. 17 gms of glycolax in a tall glass of water each day. It is a white powder and comes with a 17 gram cup. Once stirred intothe water, it is clear and tasteless. Use it once or twice per day. It takes 3-4 days to really take effect. I had tried everything, fromprune juice to ex-lax to MOM but nothing really worked well. I usuallyneeded a ducolax suppositoy (daily) just to have a BM. Now withGlycolax, I can go by myself although I do need an occasional ducolaxsupposity to get the whole thing moving. No greater feeling like anempty colon! Some increased gas and a little cramping (once in awhile) are the only side effects. Glycolax causes the colon to hold onto water without causing diarrhea. It really worked for me (I am ondilaudid), I feel back in control of that part of my day again. It isworth a try for sure. After trying everything else, this solved myproblem completely.

RE: Constipation

Green smoothies. I drink 1 to 3 of them a day.Green smoothies are blended drinks usually comprised of 60% raw, fresh fruit and 40% raw, fresh vegetables (or 100% vegetables, if you can handle it). You blend everything in the blender on liquid speed with icecubes and water to create the desired consistency. As you become accustomed to the taste, increase the ratio of vegetables and decrease the ratio of fruit (IMO, raw, fresh vegetables are a crucial weapon for fighting cancer). Make certain to use a wide variety of vegetables and fruit over the course of time.Do a search on the Internet, and you'll find many different kinds of green smoothie recipes. They are versatile enough to create your own recipes, as well. Small quantities of WHOLE GRAIN rice (not the 'quick' cook variety nor 'white' rice [ it isn't whole grain] ) and beans may also help. Whole grain foods contain a good portion of fiber. At any rate, I was once in the same boat as you. Nothing was working. The green smoothies and plant based diet is what did the trick for me.Many Blessings,Moon Masque Mystic
