Chemo & Neuropathy

I now receive Navelbeine every week. Prior to that I received Taxol weekly. I began getting a neuropathy with the Taxol that is getting worse with the Navelbeine. The pain is terrible. Does anyone have experience with a neuropathy in their feet with severe pain?

Neuropathy

My husband had neuropathy from chemo. It started in his feet and progressed up to above his knees. I did some research on the internet and found that Anodyne therapy had helped diabetic neuopathy. My sister works in physical therapy and they had just started doing Anodyne therapy. I talked to his oncologist and asked him to give an order for it. It has no side affects and figured it wouldn't hurt to try. It did make a difference. He was not able to feel anything on his one foot and barely on the other, after about 16 treatments he was feeling more and able to walk better with a walker. Our insurance paid for it. Check it out you've got nothing to loose and everything to gain. Just search Anodyne on Goggle. If you need more info. or can't find it write me back. Good luck and God bless you.
Chemo-induced Neuropathy

I have suffered from chemo-induced neuropathy. I have gotten great relief by using 100% pure therapeutic-grade essential oils (I use Young Living). I massage the oils on my legs and feet with a high-quality massage oil (I use a spray massage oil from Rosejoyce). Both companies are on the internet.

Some of the oils recommended for neuropathy are:
Peppermint, Juniper, Helichrysum, Lemongrass, Geranium, and Cypress--just 2 or 3 drops each.

Because of the pain, I had difficulty falling asleep. On my first application (I used Peppermint, Juniper, Geranium, and Cypress) I got enough relief so that I could fall asleep. Of course, this is an alternative treatment not recognized by traditioanl doctors.

I hope you get relief.

What is the staus of your neuropathy now? Did you find that the oils provided an on-going relief? Do you still have neuropathy?
