has this happened to anyone else?

HelloIn the last couple of weeks, my father has been having these spasm like movements in his hand/forearm. It only happens once in a while and lasts for a couple of minutes at most. Massage seems to make it go away. The doctor wants to do a MRI. I am scared that his cancer has spread to his brain. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, do you know what was the cause? he is on chemo: cisplatin/irinotecan. I have read about nerve damage but not anything about spasms/tremors. Thank you for any input.

Definitely get an MRI. When my wife was experiencing tremors in her arm and shoulder, the doctor sent her to a neurologist and ordered an MRI. Tests found 5 tumors to her brain. Responding to the symptoms probably saved or at least extended her life considerably.

Yes, take him to dr. my mother had NSCLC and when it went to brain that is what was happening. Good luck. My mother lived with Cancer for 2.5 years in stage 4. Maybe atleast you will get some quality time with your father like I got with my mother. I will pray for your family.
