FAP - DUODENAL POLYPS

I have FAP and I am a survivor of cancer for 36 years. I had my colon removed 37 years ago and developed a very large inoperable desmoid fibrosarcoma in my abdomen a year later. My only option was chemotherapy and then I developed CHF from the drugs. I have had many good years inspite of some health issues. Right now I am dealing with polyps in my duodenum which after several years are showing signs of change and possibly heading for cancer. My only option might be whipple surgery, however, I have had radiation to my abdomen and eight abdomenal surgeries and open heart surgery six months ago. I am wondering if anybody who has experienced FAP (familial polyposis) or Gardner Syndrome has had any experience with whipple surgery. Gerry
