Unexplained pain

After reading alot of the older messages I read where many of you experienced "unexplained never before experienced pains" after TT while adjusting calcium and meds. What kind of pains are you experiencing? Last week I developed a horrible pain along the outside muscle of my thigh; sometimes extends into my knee. There was no injury and no swelling. Just PAIN. It wakes me at night and has become miserable. Is this anything like what you were talking about? It's quite wierd to me that I am in such pain with no injury!!! Any input? It's definitely possible that it has nothing to do with my thyroid; or lack of! :)

Yes, I had pain in every single muscle in my body. When I say every i mean every. My stomach muscles even hurt. Arms, legs, back. This happened right after RAI. while I was very Hypo. It slowly went away after getting on my meds, but it took a couple weeks. I used heat packs, and took hot baths, that helped a little. Hope this helps.

I had TT on Apr 10, on synthroid 0.1 mg for 2 weeks, yesterday my doc changed my syntroid to 0.075 mg . he said 0.1 is a bit high, but after taking the pill ,today I felt a bit pain in my neck/throat, very thight, feeling like food stuck there and actually I coughed up a small piece of apple during lunch.I'm not sure if this caused by the new dose of synthroid or it it something else, will see the doc on tuesday, hope she can figure out what that is.Other than that , I don't have other body pain.

Thanks for everyone's input. I don't start Thyrogen or RAI until this coming week. BUT,,,I just looked up iodine deficiency and found that one side effect is muscle cramping. Maybe that's it since it just started a few days ago and I've been on LID for 9 days now. I guess if this is the worst thing, I can live through it! It's awfully painful though!
