RFA.....for liver tumor

Three years ago I had RFA for colon with liver metastases. After being diagnosed, I was treated with Oxilaplatin, and 5FU, 8 chemos with occasional time off because of low WBC.....I was then sent to Portland ,Oregon for an RFA on the liver and a colon resection to remove the initial tumor.....I was 7 days in the hospital.Returning to my oncologist, and given several doses of Epogen, for my very low RBC....I was then given another round of Oxilaplatin, 5FU for 8 rounds....and then about 4 months worth of Xeloda.....I am feeling good, and able to have most of my life back.....the exception is tiring easily and having good days and bad days of energy....This is what worked for me up to this point.....cancer is a sneaky thing and no one can promise us anything, but we have to hope and go on.....I hope this will help someone else s questions and will work for them...
