CancerCompass message board discussion started by BabyGirl11 on 5/5/2008 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,23754,0.htm Fri, 04 Jul 2008 00:00:00 GMT Fri, 04 Jul 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ My 11yr old daughter was dx on 2/28/08 with GBM IV.  It was very devastating bc no one in my family has ever been dx with cancer.  The tumor was located on the right side of the brain and 1/4 of the left side.  She is on 6 wks of radiation, which ends tomorrow and taking a combination of Etoposide and Valproic Acid orally.  It hurts to see your baby endure such an illness of this magnitude, but GOD is good.  I believe GOD will not put no more on you than you can bare.  My child has developed a personal relationship with GOD and she understands that MOM can't remove this, but GOD can.  She is stronger than I as an adult could have been if dx with this.  Prayers are going up and Blessings will come down.  She will ring her bell on tomorrow and will ringing she will recite:  Nahum 1:7, 9:  The Lord is good, a Strength and Stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows (recognizes, has knowledge of, and understands) those who take refuge and trust in Him.(C)     8But with an [b]overrunning flood He will make a full end of [Nineveh's very] site and pursue His enemies into darkness.     9What do you devise and [how mad is your attempt to] plot against the Lord?
