Now I have been diagnosed with rectal melanoma. I had two tumors removed with apparently clean margins but the melanoma has appeared in my liver and a very small lesion in my lung. The liver biopsy confirmed the melanoma diagnoses and is not a lung cancer spread.My oncologist has recommended treatment with Temador and Thalidomide taken my mouth. They are to be taken together. I have not been able to start treatment yet because the insurance company has not approved the prescription for the Temador.Have any of you with a melanoma diagnoses tried the treatment and what has been the experience with the insurance companies?Any information would be very helpful to me. sallad Tue, 06 May 2008 00:00:00 GMT
