I lost my hair after the chemo and it was growing in, then I went on Tarceva.  Did anyone else have slow hair growth while they were on Tarceva??  It has been 6 months since I have been on the drug, and my hair is just really growing now.  I am just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem?? Feeling great, Life is Good, Keeping busy Vette  Yes, yes - finally someone else who is having a problem with hair regrowth.  I lost my hair due to radiation of the head almost 1-1/2 yrs ago. I have been on Tarceva since Mar/Apr 2007.  I have hair growth everywhere but on the top of my head - I basically look like Bozo the clown. I live in Florida & it is too hot now to wear a wig, which I have been doing for months.  I convinced my Oncol. to let me cut back on the Tarceva dosage, so have been taking it ev. other day for 3 mos now.  I am finally getting a little fuzz up there, but it is not much.  At this rate, it may take another year to fully come in looking like hair.  So I would say yes, Tarceva does affect the hair regrowth process.  If you hear of anything that can help sticulate the hair follicles, please let me know.  I am looking into a product called Nioxin, but it is expensive.  Don't bother with Rogaine, it will not work for baldness due to radiation or chemotherapy.  Good Luck.
