Are you experiencing nausea, grogginess, etc. I seem to have multiple symptoms. sallad Thu, 15 May 2008 00:00:00 GMT Yes, my brother is receivng Thalidomide and Timodar for metastatic melanoma spread to the lungs and adrenal glands.  It makes him feel really bad.  He is very groggy all the time and on what he calls "double dose" day...that is when he has to take 2 Timodar, then he is really feeling bad the next day.   I ask him how he feels and he just says, "bad" so I don't know exactly how it makes him feel.  He is becoming an invalid though because he feels like he cannot safely walk.  Does it affect you that way? I think the change came about when my son made me start exercising even when I did not feel like it. He held my arm and got me started. After just a couple of days I was moving around the house without assistance and begining to get my bearings. Now, because I know it won't last, I seem to be recovering quicker each day. I take my drugs everyday. How does your brothers dosage work? Tell him to just keep trying to move and good luck. Let me know how it is going. sallad Mon, 19 May 2008 00:00:00 GMT Hi, thank you so much for responding.  He has been to his oncologist and he told him to start trying to walk.  He is actually beginning to walk around his front porch now using the railing.  He says that he is starting to feel stronger in his legs.  He is still very sick in the morning from the medication though.  I will add you to my prayer list.  Keep me posted on how you are doing as well.  Marimoo007 Mon, 19 May 2008 00:00:00 GMT
