good result with Sutent so far

Hello all, update. Good result Sutent. Had my CT this week dont profess to understand all the techinical jargon but one tumour continues to have necrosis (is dying) and both now have fluid within which is "cystic" and I am told is a sign that they may be breaking down. Anyone else had this / could explain a bit more about it? The rest is stable so I have started cycle 11. Railwayman

Great news! I was scanned on Saturday after my 10th round and get results tomorrow morning. If stable, will start Cycle 11 next week. Although the side effects of the last 3 cycles have reduced my desire to eat and last well into my breaks. We'll discuss this in the morning.

This, & the "Sutent is effective" thread, should be combined, & everyone on Sutent should track them & update their experience for the benefit of the practioners, patients & caregivers! After 2 cycles of 50mg/day, the CT showed the lesions on my wife's lungs & kidney had diminished by nearly 1/3d. B/c of side effects, her dosage has been reduced to 37.5mg/day, she is now on her holiday & will have her next CT in August after her 4th round. Prayers work, & the medicine helps, too! Pax.
