Liver Cancer

My mother had colon cancer about 2-1/2 years ago. Surgery removed the tumor and several lymph nodes and left her with a colostomy, but a year ago she was found to be cancer-free after chemo. Recently she had a CAT scan which this time showed cancer on her liver--more serious. She's about to undergo chemotherapy again.

I started her taking a multivitamin supplement three times a day. She's also been taking milk thistle for quite a while, but that apparently hasn't helped. What nutrition and vitamin supplements can you recommend that may be able to defeat this cancer?

Juicing - juicing - juicing for the compact nutrition. Organics only if possible. Try the Garden of Life products. Very helpful. All whole food. Try to avoid synthetic vitamins. Another good company is Standard Process. You have to get them from a practitioner. Try the website. Build the immune system through heightened nutrition.

I agree with Nancy. I would also look into Glyconutrients which has helped many people. I have a friend that swears by glyconutrients because she had lymphona cancer and now she is cancer free. She went on a strict diet and took glyconutrients. For information on glyconutrients got to http://www.sugarscanheal.com.

Have you tried Avastin with 5FU and leucavorin? This is relatively new and highly acclaimed.

My mother took Avastin for a while, but then she fell and punctured her lung. This caused the cancer to spread rapidly. She died in November.
