I have heard that it isn't an easy surgery to have. I wonder if your white blood cell count is due to your surgery? Write all of your questions down for when you go back for your post-op visit. I looked up tg levels dropping after surgery and I didn't get any info on how long. Sorry.  Just wanted to reply and wish you all the best. Karen Karen321 Sun, 15 Jun 2008 00:00:00 GMT I don't know about the WBC but I also had a neck dissection.  My thyroglobulin level dropped to half what it was but we were hoping for 0 so I have to get ready to have the scan again.  I had my dissection the 1st week in February and as of the beginning of June as I said it was half but the endo did indicate that due to the surgery the traceable numbers could reflect benign residual tissue.  Leemg Mon, 16 Jun 2008 00:00:00 GMT
