Eastern healing methods

Hi,I'm Blake, I would like to share some meditation techniques that I practise. I have found them useful to the healing process. The reason I'm here is that my mum is a survivor of thyroid cancer, and these are the same meditations i recommended to her. How to cultivate life force energy within the bodyThe micro cosmic orbit meditation-The
Dan Tien is important to your physical as well as spiritual life, it is
the location of your sexual energy and therefor the location of the
body's most vital energy.First you need to locate your lower
Dan Tien (for the moment I will just refer to it as the Dan Tien for
easy of writing). To locate this muscle group, put a finger into the navel,
right into the centre. Now from that position trace a line about an
inch to an inch and a half blow your navel. this is the general
location-to pin point it, throw a punch with the other arm and yell Ha!
Now you should feel a group of muscles come together and jut out for a second-this is ur Dan Tien-
now without using any of your stomach muscles try to control your Dan
Tien-tense it, it may be hard at first, but please remember do not
tense your stomach muscles. When u tense it-try to tense it slowly and
then release it- use one finger at the time to locate the very centre
of it, you should feel several muscles close together into a centre
point-this is the exact location of this point- it is also known as the
sacral or 2nd chakra. This your body's battery.1st StepCurl
your tongue to the roof of your mouth.Sit crossed legged- right leg on
top of left , palms on your lap with thumbs touching lightly-ur thumbs
and and fingers/palms make a little triangle.Breath in through your
nose, and feel the air come into you slowly, feel it enter the Dan Tien
(keep the Dan Tien relaxed),hold for a few seconds, now at the point
where you want to breath out, see/feel the air going down under you, up
your spine over ur head and back to your Dan Tien- do this in timing
with the release of your breath.* Do this with your tongue to the roof of your mouth, do the breathing in and out from the nose*This is to be done by men 7 times
for one set. woman 9 times. So for example do this exercise in lots of
7,14,21 for guys, 9,18,36 for woman-but i recommend sticking to one set
at a time as it can make you light headed at first.- I recommend after
you get used to the meditation, to complete 2-3
sets-before storing.2nd part-storing QiOpen
your palms facing up and place them just in front of your Dan Tien. Now
tense your Dan Tien, and pull upwards with your hands, feel as you you
are lifting a heavy weight- feel the energy you have gathered into your
Dan Dien compact and enter the centre of the Dan Tien, with each pull
up-and subsequent push down you are tensing your Dan Tien and feel the
energy go into it- when you pull up breath in, when you push down
breath out- when you start you are doing slightly big up/down
movements-say from just below ur Dan Tien to just below your solar
plexus-each time you've completed one up/down motion you move slightly
closer into your Dan Tien, until when your completely exhausted you are
over it. I must stress that you don't tense your stomach muscles when u
are pulling and pushing, you will end up with arthritic pain around you
waist-thats why it is very important to locate and exercise the Dan
Tien before you being this meditation, so that you know how to separate
it from the rest of your muscles.3rd part-releasing the excess
Qi-After you store your energy, do a few punches and yell Ha! using ur
Dan Tien as you do so, this will release the excess energy on ur skin
and in your muscles- do not do this is front of ppl, animals or plant
life.Ok guys thats the beginning, hope you guys and girls liked it, i will come back soon and add another bit that will explain how to use this for self healing.

RE: Eastern healing methods

Thanks Blake for taking the time to post this. It's a lot to absorb at one time and I'm sure it takes quite a bit of time to become competent enough to go through it all without having to check the instructions but I'm sure the benefits are worth the effort. I have concentrated more on using visualizations which are amazingly effective too but I am like a sponge when it comes to learning about natural ways to assist in self healing so thanks again. Have you done any research into "Quantum physics" "intention" and the "mind body" connection? I'll send you a private message with a link to information on these that I think you'll find interesting.
Excellent to know your mum is a survivor!

You might be interested in posts on tong ren healing. We use the upper, middle and lower dantians to help recharge the body's energy so the chi flows more smoothly throughout the whole system. Tong ren is an energy healing system we use to enable self healing. These are only a few of the points we use in this healing system, but I thought it was interesting you were offering us a meditation on those areas. Is your exercise a form of qigong?

Hi She may and tongrenhealer nice to meet you both :-) No worries at all, I'm glad you found it interesting :-) Hehe yes shemay i guess it does seem complex now because it is new, and really this is only because it is written out, in person I could show you how to do it in a few minutes. I believe long term practise of this meditation can enable amazing control over your ability to heal yourself. I've looked into those subjects here and there, I find them very interesting. Thanks very much I would love any information you can share with me :-)Thank you, yes I am very grateful for her still being here.

RE: Eastern healing methods

Sorry tongrenhealer i meant to include this reply in the last post.I would be very interested in reading the posts, where can I find them? The meditation above 9the microcosmic orbit) is Qi Gong, It is Internal Alchemy. Bringing air into your Dan Tien (the "Alchemical cauldron") and mixing it with your own sexual energy located in the Dan Tien (this is the body's most vital Qi) and then raising it up the spine and transforming the energy as it passes through each Chakra and returning it to the Dan Tien is the method of transforming base energies (lead) into higher vibrational "Good" energy (gold). After gathering and transforming Qi you can store it and keep it.The reason this meditation is one of the best (in my opinion) is simply because it teaches you that you can manipulate air. You breath it in,transform it up the spine and bring it back to the mixing pot. This teaches you that air is just energy. You can do the meditation focusing on the center of the earth, or water...it is all energy. This means that any illness, including cancer is just energy, and can therefor be manipulated just like every other energy. There are other benefits to mastering this technique in that you can begin to sense the inner universe of your body and realize illness for what it is, energy. You can get to the point where you will feel a cold come into your body as a form of energy, and this allows you to be able to grab the cool and actually remove it with your hands, or via your will and breath. To heal yourself, once you store a fair amount of Qi and are comfotable with moving the air up your spine and back to your Dan Tien, you can then begin practicing treating illness. Instead of focusing just on the air, focus on a sore area of your body (something injured) and breath the pain and the air into your Dan Tien-mix/combine it there (just tell it to go together) and raise it up the spine in the usual way. In this way you are actually cleaning sick energy and transforming it into good, usable lifeforce energy for yourself. When using that on another person it is better not to take in their illness, rather you can ask them where they are injured and then focus on that area in your mind and then breath that pain out into the center of the ground.Another thing that it can allows you to do is access universal Qi. the Qi that is everywhere around and through everything and allows instant worldwide healing. Once you are used to storing energy with your hands using the heavy weight method (imagining a heavy weight) you should give a few months for this to develop your muscular strength you need to handle higher charges of energy.Once you feel strong in you arms, star including a soft practise of the same technique, make you arms still feel like they are weighted but you keep completely relaxed and only tense your Dan Tien.To access universal Qi to heal, just say in your mind that you would like to borrow some energy from the universe/God, and at the same time use the same type of breath (tongue curled to the roof of the mouth) see + breath white light from above you through your crown chakra (the center of ur skull) and down to your heart chakra (chest/solarplexus area) and then see it come out of your hands. Now you can just breath this energy over yourself- to another person, animal, plant. With people it is good to run a channel of energy up the back and down the front. Just see them in your mind, a beam up the back and one up the front of brilliant white light- but don't just see it, breath it into them as it beams out of your hands. When you are finished just say thank you and feel gratitude that you are able to work with such a wonderful universal love. Oh and you should have permission for doing healings on people using universal Qi too. In cases like with animals then you have to use your best judgment. In regards to healing cancer, you must also be aware that it is possible to feed cancer with energy treatments. When you use universal Qi to heal someone of cancer it is possible to actually feed the cancer with energy. It is a good idea to attack the cancer by willing it out at the same time as charging yourself/person. When I was treating my mum for cancer I would charge her with energy but at the same time take apart the cancer- breath it out into the ground- just like in the above meditation, if you can control air with breath and mind then you can control anything.
