question on medicine or metallic taste in mouth after TT

I had my TT on May 9th...only went on Cytomel briefly..and have been off of it for 3 weeks as of today....and am taking my RAI on Wednesday..with a follow up scan 8 days later. I was told to start Cytomel and Synthroid on Saturday..and drop off Cytomel after 2 weeks.Yesterday.even prior to RAI...I developed a real medicine..or maybe metallic...taste in my mouth? Assume this is part of the process..but I usually read about this happening more after RAI - not before. I was taking a number of vitamins and supplements..but I stopped those a week ago (temporarily) until I made it thru the RAI....so it could also be from that. I was also on allergy shots...stopped those also temporarily.. Anyone develop strange taste in their mouth after TT...before RAI?..keep in mind..I am presently not on any medications...so the timing is a little odd.. Thanks..

I personally haven't heard of it before RAI. In fact my didn't start for 1 week afterwards. It's usually the iodine that does it.Good luck tomorrow!
