TG levels at 6 months unsurpressed thyrogen stimulated

Can I get people's unsurpressed TG at 6 months post treatment for pap thyca/w/node mets?My daugther was .4 at 6 wks and 4 months after treatment.her tg is due back soon. What would be considered good?Under 2? OR undetectible? Would love some feedback on others TG under these circumstances. At time of full hypo prep 3 days prior to RA131 and 9 wks after TT she was 150 tsh and 29 tg. Thanks so much,. DP

RE: TG levels at 6 months unsurpressed thyrogen stimulated

They are looking for undetectable amounts of thyroglobulin. My endo said at one time they could not measure below 2 but now they can detect smaller numbers and now the hard part is what does it all mean. My level dropped in half after having node dissection and removing 3 cancerous nodes of 28 but my level is still over 2 so I have to prepare for a WBS in 2 weeks and then they will do another blood work up to determine if a second dose of RAI is necessary. Hope this helps!

You need to get Tg below 0.5 and Tg Antibodies normal to be declared as Disease free.It can be achieved in many cases, how old is the patient ?

T2, N1a, MX pathology. She just had 6month post treatment thyrogen blood/wbs done. TG was 4.1 and wbs negative and US negative. So we wait. I suppose the wait for 12 month mark to be sure her salivary's are scorched is good but just want to be sure she is ok in the 6 month interim. It's quite unlikely anything terrible can grow/happen in that 6 months since it's papillary w/no aggressive variants. She had 150 mci so had a big treatment. Didnt uptake well though and this may be the issue. I just dont want her to have to go through this for years. I hope this 12 month winter treatment will do the trick. We are shooting for ZERO and if it's under 1 I will be pleased since I've read many on here live with under 2 tg's in hypo state and are good. thanks, DP
