supressed breathing on diladid/methadone

Yeah my girlfriend,is on methadone, and diladid for break thru because her pain is really bad.She has stage four ovarian cancer, only 34yrs old. There is nothing left for them to do except keep her comfortable, but I am going to take the alt medicine approach and she is all for it,but I have some concern about the meds she is taking.I have gone round and round about the right dosage, and she is taking a dose too keep the pain bareable, because she doesn't want to sleep the rest of her life away, and also takes adderall to keep her awake and alert, for a few hours it works, but when she goes to sleep her breathing is very depressed, and it scares me.Even if she doesn't take the aderall,it is still depressed.I am sure it is due to the narcotics, along with the tumors on her diaphragm, along with the small amount of fluid in her right lung, but sometimes she is breathing just fine,as fine as you can get,but it soon wears off.Is there anything out there that I or she can do to help with this?
