CancerCompass message board discussion started by quikay_love on 6/27/2008 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,25453,0.htm Sun, 23 Nov 2008 00:00:00 GMT Sun, 23 Nov 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/  i was diagnozed for breast cancer 2005, i did 8 sessions of chemo and was told that am cancer free, october of 2007 my cancer came back in my clavicle and was diagnosed bone cancer terminal my doctor said i will have 6 sessions of chemo and radiation..my 1st chemo i experienced very bad side effects...they wanted to give an injection to raised my WBC but it will be an out of pocket payment cost $3,000.00/injection...and everytime i have my chemo (every 3 weeks) my copay was $2,400.00...the cost made me more sick..my last chemo was 2/ 15 / 08..tumor markers 71.. that was my last chemo, my doctor don't want to give me chemo not until i have $2,400.00 (rest will be paid by my insurance)..i cannot afford the cost. when i went homei did all kind of research on the internet about alternative treatment..and started ordering books and buying and using B17,zeolite, sunchlorella,wakasa gold and some other supplements, change my food to organic, and have 4 glasses of carrots and oranges (with skin juice)..everyday and eat apricot seed daily..and of course my prayer..  5/09/08 had my tumor markers and blood test..everything turn out normal and my tumor markers...39 i continue what am doing..  finally i decided to see an alternative doctor..June 17 got my result from blood and urinary test June 23.. and found out that my tumor marker's was 38..  Dr. Meschi found out that my liver is congested, my kidney is not filtering and my stomach is producing too much antibodies..  If i continue my chemo..maybe i have only couple of months to live by now..because of the side effect on my other vital organs..  now am very very pleased and happy with Dr. Meschi i have my life back..and to my prayer warriors..i know am going to win this battle..  queenie quikay_love Fri, 27 Jun 2008 00:00:00 GMT I am so happy for you and I KNOW that GOD is able and willing to make you totally well again. I also had breast Cancer surgery and I decided to quit taking Arimidex b/c I am in agony most of the time. My bones and joints hurt so bad that life isn't good anymore.I KNOW that GOD will see me through this and if it is God's will for me to live I WILL,and if not I'll go to be with God,and that is even better! I believe that people are willing to suffer through Chemo and all other terrible treatments, "instead of " trusting God to be our healer. His treatment is so pure and so free. Pray on a consistant bases and ask God to lead you and he will .I have left it at Jesus feet and I am satisfied,that Jesus will take care of me.When I had surgery I had a reaction to all the pain meds. My 2 daughters and I prayed and I said Lord please stop my pain b/c I can't take the drugs and guess what.....I had NO pain what so ever,after the surgery. I was sore but no pain.Trust in God,that's what I will do.Love Shirley ShirleyM Fri, 27 Jun 2008 00:00:00 GMT What I have done is have faith in God,  The Doctors that he has provided with the skills to help cure us,  radiation/chemo and alternatives that go along with those skills.  I want all the help I can get.  And you are right, if it is time to go in God's eyes, I can handle it.  I have no fear of that. In addition. I fight like hell and stay positive and so far I am beating the monster.  I would suggest that all of us who are fighting cancer take advantage of all that is there for us! Arnold Fri, 27 Jun 2008 00:00:00 GMT Yes I have been to the Dr's also. I didn't mean that you should not go to Dr's or alternative practioners b/c God has given them the knowledge to help us. My surgery removed the cancerous lump and now the Arimidex is making my life truely bad. So I have turned my life over to God and let his will be done. I think that we are not humble enough and turn it over to God,until we KNOW that there is nothing left for us to do but that.Dr's can only do so much and that's it.
