Reoccurance or swollen lymph nodes after Tx

Wondering if anyone has any experience with a reoccuance of lymph node involvment or a new tumor? My dad has had all the radiation and chemo and even a Left side neck dissection with removal of lymph nodes. That was in Dec 2006.He now has a swollen lymph node way back behind his upper shoulder blade which is being biopsied today.Wondering if anyone has experience with this or even a reoccurance. What did they do? How was it found? Etc Any answers would be helpful. thank you kindly.....

They said it was confined to the neck area they "thought" however it was in the lymph node. I will pray for you and hope it is not cancer again. Please keep me updated. My husband is now having horrible shoulder pain and still can not eat well and has to have water everywhere he goes.NO saliva glands. Good Luck and Let me know how it goes.
