Erbitux

My husband has been on Avastin but it seems to have stopped working. He started on Erbitux but stopped after one session and after re-reading all the literature on the side-effects.
I've been reading all the messages at this site about Erbitux and it seems that some of you have had severe skin rashes; which is what he treads. He's had shingles and doesn't want to deal with that type pain again. Bottom line; even with the risk of severe rash, would you still take the Erbitux? Have the results been good enough to warrant the side-effects? Thanks.
