Resveratrol and Multiple Myeloma

Here are some studies I just came across: Bit technical but informative. You can buy just the Resvertrol by itself made from wine grapes. Harvard also did a study but not on the MM side... http://mct.aacrjournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/3/1/71 http://cancerres.aacrjournals.org/cgi/content/full/65/21/994 MMS

Thanks for posting. Resveratrol is "must have" supplement in the fight against MM. Life Extension has a very nice combination supplement of cruciferous extract and resveratrol that is an extremely potent anti-cancer product.Regards,Craig

RE: Resveratrol and Multiple Myeloma

Unfortunately resveratrol prices vary wildly from company to company. I am trying to maintain a price watch list, and appreciate any help regarding brands that are not on the public list here:http://resveratrolpricewatch.com/ This link actually points to a public forum where I first started gathering price, and quality information on resveratrol. Feel free to send me any updates, or new products that I am missing. I have over 100 products on the list, and it's growing. If you look on the left side of the list, you can see a column that says, "price per gram". It basically calculates how much you are paying for resveratrol in the product listed.LEF, and many other brands are listed. If you are considering a low dose, such as 300mg or less 50% quality is ok to take. But if you are considering taking more than 300mg a day, 99% resveratrol quality is the only way to go as you are guaranteed little to no emodin in the resveratrol which can cause a mild laxative effect if you take to much of it. Most 50% resveratrol in the products you see on store shelves contain 6% or more emodin, so you can't take to much of it even if you wanted to. I hope this helps some people, Anthony
