Efudex

I will be starting Efudex treatments tomorrow. I have had sixteen skin cancers at this time. I have had mostly squamous and basal cell cancers. I have continous precancerous spots on my face, neck, chest, and arms. I had a very deep basal cell under my right breast. I can not believe the amount of stitches I had to endure for that one. It is a mystery to me how I got a skin cancer in that spot. My dermatologist has recommended Efudex because it is becoming impossible to biopsy all of the spots appearing. I am very nervous about the Efudex treatment. I have been reading as much as I can about the drug. This message board has provided me with lots of reassurance and information. My Mohs surgeon has told me that I need to keep thinking about the future rewards I will receive when going through the misery of the Efudex treatment. I feel more comfortable knowing I have a source for questions from people who have gone through the process. Let the games begin!
