CancerCompass message board discussion started by SASSYB on 7/2/2008 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,25658,0.htm Sun, 23 Nov 2008 00:00:00 GMT Sun, 23 Nov 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ when did anyone start eating solid foods..other than real soft? can anyone eat steak or chicken????am a bit depressed today..had our follow up with our sugeon on monday  ...he said we no longer need to see him...to follow up with our g.i. guy..who we saw today!when asking about foods..he said.."well.,this is "as good as its going to get"?!!!!!!!!!post op only one month.....my surgeon states..we dont need to see ongologist...while g.i. dr. says yes ..we do..he will follow my husband????he doesnt want to see..my busband for 6months..is this normal???i really felt down..really expected more from him ..in the way of teaching and all.what foods to eat..what not to...what to watch for.!..we prety much know ..to go slow and be careful...small portions and small bites...but ..wow ..what a letdown..........we feel we..need to address this with the surgeon,again...what do you think???  SASSYB Wed, 02 Jul 2008 00:00:00 GMT
