Hi Donna, Did you have cancer anywhere else? I have not heard of anyone having it only in the omentum. I was diagnosed stage 3c ovarian cancer on Nov.1, 2007. They did complete hysterectomy, ooferectomy,(taking out ovaries and tubes) and exploratory. They removed my omentum because of the cancer that had spread into the omentum. Had 6 rounds of chemo. Now there are lesions on liver. Waiting to get results from MRI. Hope to hear from you...Dot

Hi Donna, good to hear from you. My results on MRI were good. I have one cyst on liver. Nothing to worry about. The other lesions on liver were just gone. I thank God for that. I have had some abdominal pain and bm problems the past few weeks, it comes and goes and CA-125 is up to 70. Having another CT done on abdomen and pelvis on Sep.2. Hoping for nothing more than infection or scar tissue or hernia giving problem. I developed a hernia at top of incision about 4-5 months after surgery. I have had one infection in my port and that is around the time my CA started creeping back up. My port still can itch and hurt at times. Had a stitch come out of it 2 weeks ago. Had port put in back in January. I tolerated my chemo pretty well, but not wanting to experience it again. Hope to hear from you again...Dot
