My urologist said that I was very lucky to catch the prostate cancer in the early stage, and eventually I would be as good as new after the procedure. However, 8 to 9 months later I'm seeing blood at the start and end of my bowel movements, and today for the first time I'm seeing blood in my urine. I'll make sure I see my urolgist on this matter soon. However, can you tell me if these type of bleedings are normal 8 - 9 months after  radiation seeds implant? OneLove Sat, 12 Jul 2008 00:00:00 GMT Your symtoms are interesting.  I had the same treatment with Iodine 125 on Nov. 29 so I am past 7 months.  The only symtoms I have had are irritation in my urianiary tract and rectal area.  I took DMSO treatments for 6 weeks and cleared up the urianiary tract problem, but still have some rectal pain, but it is slight and not a real problem yet.Let me know what your doctor says about it in the event I have the same symtoms later.The best wishes for your recovery. adepose Fri, 18 Jul 2008 00:00:00 GMT
