My doctor just called and said his prelim report from surgeon was that in the crushed part of my hip was sent for tests, doc just told me I had a tumor in the hip cancerous. I am so scared. I'm all alone, hubby and dad both passed last year. I'm so alone and now very scared, as my initial broken hip has to heal 6 - 12 weeks, prior to breaking it, my leg was very painful for 3 months and nothing was found in tests. Is it likely this is primary or secondary, my doc said he wont know for another week or two.can anyone help, I'm alone and crying, thanks, Lynn. Lynn4545 Fri, 05 Aug 2005 00:00:00 GMT Hi Lynn. Flowerpot Thu, 11 Aug 2005 00:00:00 GMT Hi Lynn, My mother is going through the sam ething you are. She is 61 and has bone cancer, after having had uterine and recurrent endometrial cancer. In April, she lost her husband to cancer and in May, she lost her father. I wish I could get the two of you together. She currently is having internet probalems, but my e-mail address is eklundla@mail1.vcu.edu if you want to try to communicate with someone in the same situation as you. She is a very positive person, but has sbeen through so much and is feeling pretty discouraged and mainly is trying to cope with the pain, as well as the recent major life changes. I have a son and his wife and three grandchildren but I'm trying not to depend on them too much because I may have to later on. I for one can say I know how you feel. You have to try to focus on one day at a time.. I find prayer helps. It takes my mind off my self and relaxes me and that lessons the pain. Please e-mail me and maybe we can walk through this together. I well pass on some information my 3 year old granddaughter gave me. She said " Grandma don't put both of your lips in your cup when your drinking or you'll spill your drink all over yourself." What a brilliant child. Laugh when you can.
