      <title>Hello</title>
<description>Hi Alex, My sister Alexia, 23 was diagnosed last Febrauary after having the disease for about a year until we found out what it was. She was diagnosed as stage 3B and has finished her first cycle of chemotherapy (12 sessions once every 15 days) on the 16th of August. Three days ago we found out that she still has 2 of her lymph nodes swollen one at almost normal level and the other one under her belly fairly big still. It was a great shock to us to see that she hasnt recovered and she will be needing 4 more sessions during the next 2 months, she is starting again on tuesday. she is then scheduled for a PET scan, and if the results are still not good she will be doing a marrow transplant.
If you can send us an email of your story it would be great so i can read it to her, because she is not so optimistic at the moment...

Thank you

      <title>Hodgkin's</title>
      <description>Hello Iliana,
I hope your sister is hanging in there!!! She will get through this! I am a survivor of Hodgkin's. I was diagnosed at the age of 19, staged 2, and went through 12 treatments of ABVD. I am now almost 2 years in remission. Keeping a positive outlook and attitude does wonders!! I never imagined having cancer, and then one day I was hit with it. I didn't know what to think at first....but I kept my head up and knew that I would get through this. You will have your up and down days, but you will get through. Stay strong!! If you have any questions or need someone to talk to please feel free to e-mail me. My e-mail is --- Message edited by CancerCompass staff: for personal protection, email address removed. <title>Bloody Hodgkins</title>
      <description>Hi everybody,
I was diagnosed a long time ago now, my doctor thought I had hay fever for 5 years and eventually after many tests, they told me I had an enlarged heart, except I passed all the tests and they couldn't find anything wrong with it, and eventually I was diagnosed with Hodgkins when I was 31, I am now 44 and I have had this critter 5 times now!.
I have had radiotherapy, chemotherapy, you name it I've had it, at one time I was taking 17 tablets a day, but I'm still here to tell a tale, and I have many tales to tell.
I would love to hear from fellow survivors and anyone who would like a friendly chat</description>
