Chemo and Mood Change

My father age 74 has just finished up 5 of the 6 weeks of the 24 chemo treatments that he needs. He is debating as to going back. Ever since the 4th treatment he has become violent, hallucinating somewhat, throwing out anger and he states that he cannot control what he does. He had a bad bout with the diarreah complication. He also has a so called"stained glass " effect in one eye. Has anyone else experienced this? He is stage 3 colon cancer. My mother called the VA dr and they want to do a CAT scan to see if it spread to the brain or could be depression. thanks for any help

Hope things are better...I find the pain medicine has more of an effect than the chemo. The pain medicine makes my husband more agressive and vocal. What have been your findings?
