Need info on clear cell cancer of the uterus

I am desperately searching for information on clear cell cancer of the uterus. My mother was recently diagnosed with this form of cancer. All I know right now is that it is a very aggressive form of cancer, only about 5%-10% of cancer patients get clear cell cancer, and generally clear cell cancer has been linked to the patients birth mother using the hormone DES sometime during the pregnancy. My mother has never been exposed to DES. If anyone has any information about clear cell cancer, specifically of the uterus and that is not DES related, I would greatly appreciate you sharing it with me. Thank you.

Uterine Cancer

Hello,

My name is Ale and I am a rare uterine cancer survivor. Because of my age at the time I felt ill (36) I was almost ignored with my own body signs. I researched so much day and night and had answers to o many questions by the time doctors set appointments for me.
I had pre-cancer and surgeries.
Have you tried City of Hope Hospital? My father now has Leukemia and I have recently taken him to become a patient. I am hoping for a second opinion for him to survive.
I believe that you will find answers there.
Good Luck, you are blessing for her, right now.

It is my understanding that it is possible that your grandmother used or was exposed to DES. This then would be in your mothers DNA.On 7/21/2003 Jennifer H. wrote:I am desperately searching for information on clear cell cancer of the uterus.
